j-hope is here with ‘Sweet Dreams’!
On March 7 at 2 PM KST (10:30 AM IST), BTS’ j-hope released his much-awaited track, ‘Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)’. The soft love song featuring American singer-songwriter Miguel was released on all music streaming platforms, along with a captivating music video.
Some of the renowned names of the musical world, such as Johnny Goldstein, Sam Martin, Sean Douglas, and Theron Makiel Thomas, also participated in the making of this song. With this song, the artists showcased their creative synergy woven in the soulful tones of R&B and hip-hop.
The music video of ‘Sweet Dreams’ extends the beautiful feelings of love as the lyrics essay various emotions extended to the dream lover. The unique visuals of a flying house, flying car, and the special elements indicating ‘love’ bring the emotions of the song alive.
On March 6, as a part of the promotions for the song, j-hope hosted a 12+ hours long livestream on Weverse, ‘j-hope Comeback Live: Sweet Dreams with j-hope’. In this livestream, the artist shared details about his song, reacted to his music video, and enjoyed a meal and several activities with ARMY. The ‘HOPE WORLD’ fame then ended the day as he slept on the live stream, following which he showed his preparations for the fan event the next morning in the same live video. The live video has become the most-viewed broadcast on Weverse in 2025, with a striking count of 26.9 million viewers, making j-hope the first artist to achieve such a feat.

After the livestream, j-hope hosted ARMY for a special offline fan event, ‘Sweet Dreamland,’ at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST) in Seoul, South Korea. The artist shared sweet moments with ARMY through fun activities and conversations at the event. Answering questions by his fans, he also shared his inspirations behind the song and the execution of the whole project. He stated that the idea of releasing a love song came about as he wished to add this emotion to the musical world that he is building and also to highlight the importance of the emotion. He interacted with the ARMYs present at the event and shot a special ‘Sweet Dreams’ challenge video with a select few fans.

j-hope is set to take the stage on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on March 10, where he will be performing ‘Sweet Dreams’. He is also going to continue his ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ concert series with performances coming up in varied locations such as North America, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and more.
