BTS took home three trophies winning against popular artists like Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber and many more at the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards that took place yesterday was hosted by Kenan Thompson. BTS was nominated for three categories, i.e., Best Music Group, Best Global Music Star and Best Song for ‘Dynamite’ and they won in all three categories.
They won the Best Music Group beating OneRepublic, Maroon 5, Jonas Brothers, BLACKPINK and Black Eyed Peas. In the Best Global Music Star category, they were nominated along with Taylor Swift of North America, David Guetta of Europe, Master KG of Africa, Savannah Clarke of Australia and Sebastian Yatra of Latin America and for the Best Song award category, they were nominated for their Grammy-nominated song ‘Dynamite’ and won against popular songs like “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, “Cardigan” by Taylor Swift, “Wonder” by Shawn Mendes, “Toosie Slide” by Drake and “Yummy” by Justin Bieber. Along with BTS, artists @arianagrande and @justinbieber were also big winners. They both won the ‘Favourite Music Collaboration’ award for their song ‘Stuck with U’. Ariana was named the Female Artist for the year while Justin Bieber, the male counterpart for the same.
