K-Pop Girl Group aespa received the title of ‘Group of the Year,’ celebrating their growing impact and musical achievements. The group expressed their excitement and optimism for the future, saying “This is just the beginning. We’re just getting warm now, and I promise we’ll be on even more stages for more powerful performances”.

Billboard Women in Music celebrates female artists, creators, and industry leaders driving innovation. In previous years, TWICE won the ‘Breakthrough Award’ in 2023, while NewJeans received ‘Group of the Year’ in 2024.

Jennie made history as the first K-pop female soloist to chart three songs from her album ‘Ruby’ on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Meanwhile, aespa continues to break records with their mini-album ‘Whiplash,’ becoming the first K-pop girl group with six projects in the Billboard 200 top 50. They also made history at the MTV VMAJ by winning four awards, including ‘Artist of the Year’.

Congratulations to Jennie and aespa !
