Buckle up to meet a brand new boy group!
On July 14 KST, BIGHIT MUSIC announced the debut of a new boy group, marking them as the first group to debut in six years since the successful launch of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who made their debut in 2019.
BIGHIT MUSIC shared that the upcoming boy group will comprise five members: Juhoon, Martin, James, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. Presented as a ‘young creators crew’, the group will be personally involved in creating, producing, composing, and choreographing, introducing a completely fresh approach and distinctive style.
The group will showcase their creativity and versatility, making music influenced by their experiences and individual stories. Further the agency stated that all five members strive to be unique and not be limited to a specific role, collaborating as co-creators in all aspects of the creative process.
Additionally, the agency revealed that some of the members have been actively participating in creating music and choreography for other artists under HYBE. For example, member James is credited for contributing to the choreography of ‘Deja Vu’ by TXT, as well as ‘Magnetic,’ ‘Tick-Tack,’ and ‘Cherish (My Love)’ by ILLIT. He also helped produce ‘Deja Vu,’ ‘Miracle,’ and ‘Magnetic’ along with member Martin. Martin is also credited for his work on TXT’s tracks ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Miracle,’ ‘Beautiful Stranger,’ ‘Outside’ by ENHYPEN, as well as LE SSERAFIM’s ‘Pierrot’ and ILLIT’s ‘Magnetic’.
Further details regarding the group and members will be slowly revealed soon, building up to their official launch.
The boy group is scheduled to debut on August 18.
