ATEEZ is back with another album!
On September 17 at midnight KST, ATEEZ dropped their second Japanese full-length album ‘Ashes to Light’.
The album features a total of nine tracks, including the lead track ‘Ash’, along with ‘12 Midnight’, ‘Tippy Toes’, ‘FACE’, and ‘Crescendo’. The album also includes four previously released songs: ‘NOT OKAY’, ‘Days’, ‘Birthday’, and ‘Forevermore’. This release marks the group’s first Japanese studio album in nearly five years, following ‘Into the A to Z’ in 2021.
The official music video for ‘Ash,’ released alongside the album, unfolds in a surreal gray-toned world, incorporating symbolic elements that reflect the album’s core message while highlighting the members’ captivating visuals and standout performances.
The group’s agency KQ Entertainment stated in a press release, “The lead track ‘Ash’ carries the message of hope rising from the ashes of hardship.”
To commemorate the release, ATEEZ will hold a showcase in Tokyo later today and continue with local promotions including Yunho’s guest appearance on ‘JO1’s All Night Nippon X (Cross)’, Hongjoong and Yeosang appearance on ‘J-WAVE STEP ONE’ on the 18th, and San’s participation in radio shows such as ‘Tokyo FM’s SCHOOL OF LOCK!.’
