ASTRO Drops Teaser for Tribute Track ‘Moon’, Honoring Late Member Moonbin
On April 16 at 6:00 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), ASTRO released a teaser for their upcoming tribute song, ‘Memory of the Moon’, dedicated to their late member Moonbin. The teaser offers a poignant and intimate glimpse into the creative process behind the track. Set in a melancholic recording studio bathed in soft lighting, the video captures the raw emotions of the members.

‘Moon’ will feature contributions from K-pop artists who shared close ties with Moonbin. Among them are VIVIZ; MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, Kihyun, and I.M; SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, DK, and Seungkwan; HELLO GLOOM; Rocky; Choi Yoojung; Kim Doyeon; SF9’s Chani; Stray Kids’ Bang Chan; and Billlie’s Moon Sua, Moonbin’s sister. This collaborative effort adds further emotional depth to the track, making it a collective gesture of love and remembrance.
This tribute follows last year’s releases, including Jinjin’s ‘Fly’, Cha Eun Woo’s cover of ‘Stalker’, Seungkwan’s ‘Dandelion’, and Woozi’s ‘What Kind of Future’, all honoring Moonbin.
In addition to the tribute song, ASTRO has also announced their long-awaited concert, ‘The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy]’, with former member Rocky joining, adding even more significance to the event.
The song is set to release on April 19 at 6:00 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
