ALL(H)OURS makes a powerful comeback!
On February 4 at 6:00 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), ALL(H)OURS released their third mini-album, ‘Smoke Point’. ‘Smoke Point’ represents the temperature at which oil begins to smoke, symbolizing the build-up of energy from the group’s previous releases, now at its peak. Through this album, ALL(H)OURS plans to showcase an upgraded performance and the unique color of the group.
“Through our THIRD MINI ALBUM [Smoke Point] promotion, we plan to show a more upgraded performance and showcase the unique color of ALL(H)OURS. With the bright mood of ‘Graffiti’ and slightly heavier, powerful charisma of “GIMME GIMME,’ our double title track, we believe listeners will be able to fully experience the sweet and bold contrast of ALL(H)OURS.”
-KUNHO, member of ALL(H)OURS
‘Smoke Point’ comprises five tracks, including the first title track, ‘Graffiti,’ which was pre-released on January 17, and showcased a bright mood. The second title track, ‘GIMME GIMME’, is a high-energy dance track driven by a powerful guitar riff and intense bass and drum beats with a music video set in a rural setting with futuristic elements, action sequences, and powerful choreography. ‘Graffiti’ and ‘GIMME GIMME’ demonstrate two facets of the group’s style.
“Shooting the music video was so much fun. To capture the vibrant scenes, I mounted the camera directly on my body, and it wasn’t just any typical camera, it was very expensive; it was over ten thousand dollars! I had seen a clip of Will Smith wearing this same camera and tech while filming Bad Boys 4, and was really excited to be filming in a similar way. Wearing the camera myself while shooting the music video was a very different and new experience for me.”
– MINJE, member of ALL(H)OURS
Other tracks on the album include ‘Smoke Point,’ the introductory track featuring a combination of synth bass grooves and a powerful new jack swing rhythm, ‘Kings & Queens,’ a fast-paced track with R&B and hip-hop elements, and ‘Freaky Fresh,’ consisting of glitchy synth sounds, expanding the group’s musical spectrum.
This comeback marks the group’s first release in seven months since the release of the EP ‘WITNESS’, which came out on July 2, 2024.
In January, EDEN Entertainment revealed that the group will hold their first-ever fan convention, ‘ALL the HOURS,’ scheduled for April 5 in Seoul.
ALL(H)OURS is a South Korean boy group under EDEN Entertainment. They debuted in January 2024 with the mini-album ‘ALL OURS’. The group comprises seven members: KUNHO, YOUMIN, XAYDEN, MINJE, MASAMI, HYUNBIN, and ON:N. The group name, ALL(H)OURS, is a play on the phrases “all ours” and “all hours,” which represents the group’s commitment to always give their all in everything they do.
In 2024, the group received three Rookie Award nominations from prestigious awards shows, such as Best New Male Artist at the 2024 MAMA Awards, 32nd Hanteo Music Awards, and 39th Golden Disc Awards.
