ALL(H)OURS dropped a brand-new mini-album ‘WITNESS’ on July 3, 2024, and they have been taking the K-Pop industry by storm since then. This K-Pop group debuted just this year in January with the extended play (EP) ‘All Ours‘. Within six months of their debut, the rookie group made their first comeback with the exciting EP ‘WITNESS‘.
The title track for their latest EP, ‘Shock‘, which blends K-pop and drift phonk, has impressed fans and critics alike. With an uptempo song to promote their latest comeback, “We wanted to showcase our full potential and ambition. We decided that the best way to convey this to the public was through a song that excites and resonates with listeners,” said group member Youmin.
As a rookie group, all eyes were peeled on their first comeback, and the group chose the highly energetic and upbeat album ‘WITNESS’ to deliver an unforgettable musical experience.
“The album WITNESS is named to signify that you’ll be able to witness our growth and potential. Our debut album conveyed our beginnings as rookies and our ambition for the future. In contrast, this album showcases our vigor in a more raw and powerful way.” – ON:N
Elaborating on the group’s and the members’ individual growth over the last six months since their debut, member Minje said, “I think it’s my confidence. During our debut album, I was very nervous and felt pressured not to make any mistakes. For this album, I became more relaxed and found there were many things I wanted to show the audience. This is where I find my confidence.”
While ALL(H)OURS has seen a steady incline in their musical career since they debuted, their dreams are much bigger. Masami, speaking of a milestone he wants to achieve, said, “As I’m Japanese, I’d like to perform in my hometown. I want to perform at a large venue like Tokyo Dome and show my parents our stage. I want to make them proud.” Minje further added, “I also want to go on a world tour. I understand that the way people cheer varies by country, and I want to experience that in person.”
“We spend our time working on the basics to improve our performance on stage. For instance, for dancing, we practice isolation, bouncing, and getting the group choreography perfectly in sync. As for vocals, we practice singing individually to improve our vocalization, and we do the same for rapping. Overall, we focus on writing music and practicing singing to broaden our musical horizons.” – Kunho.
The makne aka the youngest member of the group ON:N enthusiastically shared his current dream and said, “I’d like to win first place on a music show. When we appear on music shows and see other senior artists win, I imagine what it would feel like if we received the award. I know it would be a great honor. Additionally, the Rookie of the Year award is something you can only receive once in your career, so it is a milestone I’d like to achieve.”
While the discography of ALL(H)OURS is growing, the members shared their recommendations if a new fan wishes to explore their playlist. While Xayden chose ‘Bout That Issue‘, as “it is a song that really fits my style and I like that chic vibe yet exciting towards the end”, Hyunbin recommends ‘SHOCK‘ “because I think this song really highlights our colors.” Minje’s recommendation is the group’s self-written ‘Blah Blah‘ because with the song “we can effectively show our own colors.” Masami though is a fan of their debut song, and shared “I’m most fond of our debut song, “GOTCHA.” I want as many people to listen to this song, and the more you listen to it, the more you’ll like the song.”
ALL(H)OURS is a seven-member group, formed and managed by EDEN Entertainment. The group comprises Kunho, Youmin, Xayden, Minje, Masami, Hyunbin, and ON:N.
