On a trial held on June 16, the 5th Civil Division of Seoul High Court ruled in favor of the remaining five members of LOONA – HaSeul, Go Won, Olivia Hye, YeoJin and Yves, who had filed a lawsuit with the court for the suspension of their exclusive contract with BlockBerry Creative. As a result, all 12 members of LOONA have now left the agency.
Chuu was removed from LOONA late last November. Following which, news of nine LOONA members (excluding HyunJin and ViVi) filing injunctions for suspending their contracts with their agency, BlockBerry Creative, was revealed.
This was then followed by the news of HyunJin and ViVi filling injunctions in February, for the validity of their exclusive contract. Earlier this week, the two members won their lawsuit against their agency. HyunJin and ViVi have now signed an exclusive with new agency, CTD E&M, headed by Yoon Do-Yeon, former Creative Director of BlockBerry and also a former employee of SM Entertainment who had participated earlier in the LOONA project.
The other LOONA members Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry signed with Modhaus earlier in March, which is also headed by former BlockBerry Creative Director Jaden Jeong.
In related news, LOONA’s sub-unit Odd Eye Circle consisting of Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry are all set to make their long awaited comeback soon. They have also released their teaser images but the comeback dates are yet to be announced.
