Lee Chan Hyuk of AKMU is set to make his music-directing debut in the film ‘Midnight Sun’.
Starring Jung Zi So and Cha Hak Yeon, ‘Midnight Sun’ is a musical romance about Mi Sol (played by Jung Zi So) and Min Joon (played by Cha Hak Yeon), who are only able to meet at midnight. Drawn together by their shared love of music, they fall in love and team up to chase their dreams.

Making his debut as a music director, Lee Chan Hyuk contributes to the film’s score, blending his signature sound with the voices of Jung Zi So and Cha Hak Yeon. Celebrated for his numerous hits and distinctive musical style, Lee Chan Hyuk is set to deliver an unforgettable original score.
‘Midnight Sun’ is a remake of the Japanese movie, which later inspired the Hollywood film ‘Midnight Sun’. Director Cho Young Joon, known for his warm narrative style in ‘The Preparation’, makes his directorial comeback after an eight-year hiatus with this movie.
‘Midnight Sun’ is slated to arrive in theaters on May 28.
