On February 25, American beauty brand Maybelline New York announced that aespa’s Ningning has been chosen as its newest Asia Brand Ambassador.

The brand shared the news with a short video clip on its official Instagram, captioned, “The next big hit is here! Maybelline welcomes NINGNING as its Asia Brand Ambassador.”
Ning Yizhuo, known by her stage name Ningning, is the youngest member of SM Entertainment’s girl group aespa. Since her debut in 2020, she has garnered a vast Gen Z following with her powerful vocals, chic style, and strong charisma, making her an ideal ambassador for Maybelline New York. She embodies creativity, confidence, and bold self-expression—values the brand champions.
Speaking to ELLE Vietnam about the collaboration, Ningning said, “Maybelline is a brand that always celebrates individuality and creativity, and I am honored to join the Maybelline family to share my passion for self-expression with fans across the region. Makeup has always helped me express my image and myself, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.”

Ningning is also a brand ambassador for Italian luxury fashion house Versace and is expected to attend the Versace Fall/Winter 2025 show in Milan on February 28 alongside Stray Kids’ Hyunjin.
