On May 27, aespa introduced their highly anticipated debut full-length album, ‘Armageddon’. The album reflects the group’s unique concept and identity, featuring a collection of catchy songs that highlight their powerful vocals and explore thought-provoking themes, capturing the audience’s attention.
‘Armageddon’ includes 10 tracks, featuring double title tracks. ‘Supernova,‘ a pre-release single, stands out as a dance anthem with impactful kicks, earning immense love from fans worldwide and already winning music shows. The main title track, ‘Armageddon,’ is a hip-hop dance song with strong synth bass sounds over an old-school yet trendy beat. The music video showcases aespa’s distinctive groove and strong presence, enhanced by high fashion and stunning visuals.

The album also features ‘Set The Tone,’ ‘Mine,’ ‘Licorice,’ ‘BAHAMA,’ ‘Long Chat (#❤️),’ ‘Prologue,’ ‘Live My Life,’ and ‘Melody.’
The group’s introduction of a CD player version of their album has thrilled fans and sparked excitement. This nostalgic move not only taps into fans fond memories but also addresses their practical needs, providing a tangible connection to cherished music. Interestingly, this approach has also attracted a significant number of non-fans and created a buzz to purchase and appreciate the album.
Earlier, during the showcase event of ‘Armageddon’, a reporter asked aespa about a previous comment made by HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk. Responding to it, Karina said they were too focused on their upcoming album to dwell on it, while Winter saw it as a positive sign for their album’s success. Further, Karina added that Aespa and NewJeans are good companions. There is nothing to worry about.
aespa, a girl group under SM Entertainment consists of four members Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing. They debuted with their digital single ‘Black Mamba’ on November 17, 2020. The group is set to embark on a world tour titled ‘SYNK: Parallel Line,’ beginning with a two-night performance in Seoul on June 29 and 30.
