aespa and KATSEYE are set to perform at the SUMMER SONIC 2025 music festival in Japan.
On February 27, Summer Sonic released its second lineup of artists to perform at SUMMER SONIC 2025, which includes the K-pop girl group aespa and the rising global girl group KATSEYE.

Previously, the festival revealed its headliners—American rock band FALL OUT BOY and Japanese band Official Hige Dandism (Official髭男dism). The second lineup adds 16 more artists, including Camila Cabello, J Balvin, The Prodigy, and more, alongside aespa and KATSEYE.

The festival will feature around 100 acts, and other artists will be announced in the coming days, including another headliner to be unveiled in the first week of March.
SUMMER SONIC 2025 is set to be held on August 16 and 17 at the Zozomarine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and EXPO’ 70 Commemorative Park in Osaka. While aespa is set to perform only in Tokyo, KATSEYE will be performing at both venues.
Early access tickets go live on March 1, while general access tickets will be available starting March 24.
aespa debuted as a four-member girl group in November 2020 with their single ‘Black Mamba’ and made their Japan debut in July last year with ‘Hot Mess.’
Often described as a ‘Global Girl Group,’ KATSEYE debuted as a six-member group in June 2024 with their single ‘Debut,’ which was followed by their hit single ‘Touch.’
