The Billboard Women in Music Awards is an annual event dedicated to celebrating the remarkable women whose achievements and contributions inspire and shape the future of the music industry. This year’s ceremony will be held on March 29, at Hollywood Park’s YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.
In a statement Hannah Karp, Billboard‘s Editor-in-Chief, said, “We’re honored to highlight their outstanding achievements and contributions through unforgettable performances, powerful tributes and an evening that will truly shine a spotlight on their impact.”
aespa, a four-member girl group under SM Entertainment, debuted in 2020 and has quickly risen to global prominence. Their hit single ‘Supernova’ saw massive success, earning Song of the Year title at both the ‘2024 MAMA Awards’ and the ‘Melon Music Awards.’
Jennie, a member of the renowned girl group BLACKPINK, has dominated charts and stages globally. As she prepares for the release of her debut solo album ‘Ruby’ on March 7—following the success of her single ‘Love Hangover’—Jennie is set to make history again as she is the first Korean soloist to be honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Congratulations to the artists!
