Jeon Jong Seo has joined UTA!
American media outlet, Deadline reported that, “UTA has signed actress Jeon Jong Seo in all areas.” Her Korean management agency My Company also shared their excitement through their social media. The actress will be active in Hollywood under the name Rachel Jun.
Jeon Jong -seo made her screen debut in 2018 through renowned filmmaker Lee Chang-dong’s ‘Burning’, in which she starred alongside Steven Yeun and Yoo Ah-in. She found Global recognition when she was invited to the 2018 Cannes Film Festival for her film ‘Burning’. It was also selected as South Korea’s submission for 91st Oscars. Her recent film ‘The Call’ also gained attention of many global viewers as the movie was released in 190 countries around the world via Netflix.
Jeon Jong Seo also auditioned for director Ana Lily Amirpour’s film, ‘Mona Lisa and the Blue Moon’, and will be starring opposite to Kate Hudson and Craig Robinson.
In addition to that, she is also being cast for the Korean remake of Netflix’s popular original series ‘Money Heist’ as one of the lead.
UTA is currently home to many famous actors including Johnny Depp, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
