Actress Jeon Hye Jin is set to make her return to the small screen.
On June 3, her agency, HODU&U Entertainment officially announced that “Jeon Hye Jin recently confirmed [her decision] to star in the drama ‘Riding Life,’ which is currently in production with the goal of airing next year.”
Jeon Hye Jin will play the lead role of Lee Jung Eun in ‘Riding Life’(literal title), a drama that delves into the intricate relationships within families. The agency expressed their excitement, stating, “We ask that you show lots of anticipation and support for Jeon Hye Jin, who is preparing to greet viewers with a new project.”
Jeon Hye Jin was crowned Miss Korea in 1997, and made her acting debut in the 1998 movie ‘The Killing Story.’ She married the late Lee Sun kyun in 2009 and is the mother of two sons. Following her husband’s passing in December last year, Jeon Hye Jin took a break from her career. She has worked in various dramas and films including, ‘The Throne,’ ‘Stranger,’ ‘The Terror Live,’ ‘Hit-and-Run Squad,’ ‘ A Taxi Driver,’ ‘Hunt,’ ‘Misty,’ ‘Uncle,’ and more. In 2023, Jeon Hye Jin starred in the romantic comedy drama ‘Not Others.’ She is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Mission: Cross’ on Netflix.
Jeon Hye Jin’s return to television is highly anticipated, and her new role in ‘Riding Life’ is expected to showcase her versatility and depth as an actress. The drama is scheduled to release in 2025.
