SEVENTEEN’s Vernon has officially released a new solo track, ‘I’ll Be Back’.
On August 20 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), Vernon’s latest digital single, ‘I’ll Be Back,’ was released by PLEDIS Entertainment on various online streaming platforms, coinciding with the day Vernon began his mandatory military service.
‘I’ll Be Back’ is an electronic track with pop elements that was first unveiled during ‘2026 VERNON The8 [V8] LIVE’ held in July. Vernon personally participated in writing and composing the song, adding a heartfelt message for fans into the track.
The release follows Vernon’s previous solo works, including ‘Black Eye’ and ‘Shining Star (Vernon Solo),’ as well as his musical contributions to V8 alongside his group member The8.
Meanwhile, Vernon began his military service today and is set to fulfill his duties as a social service agent following his basic military training. Despite his enlistment, fans will continue to connect with him through pre-recorded content.
