THE BOYZ set to begin a new chapter!
On August 6 KST, THE BOYZ members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Q, Sunwoo, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, and Eric revealed that they will continue their group activities as nine members, stating, “We have all reached an agreement to continue our group activities as nine, and we have finalized the group contract to do so. We are currently preparing for our activities under a new label system.”
The members further shared, “Our hearts have never changed from the very beginning—we all felt that the nine of us must stay together. Above all, we wanted to convey our intentions first to fans who have been waiting for and worrying about THE BOYZ’s group activities. We will do our best in our respective positions while also giving our all to continue the precious time we have built with our fans as THE BOYZ.”
“We sincerely thank our fans—THE B—for your unwavering love and support. We are working hard to repay you with great performances, so we ask for your continued support.”
Meanwhile, each member will pursue solo activities through separate agencies, while THE BOYZ’s group activities will continue without interruption through full cooperation.
This announcement follows after nine members, excluding NEW, filed to terminate their contracts with ONE HUNDRED over a breach of trust. The group also shared that more information regarding its future activities will be announced in the coming weeks.
