BTS is reclaiming their spot on global charts eighteen weeks after their comeback !
The latest official U.K. Official Charts (July 24-30 edition) have revealed that BTS’ track ‘NORMAL,’ from their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG,’ has re-entered the ‘Official Singles Top 100’ at number 36. It is the highest-charting new entry on this week’s chart. The group achieved this milestone following their electrifying performance at the ‘2026 FIFA World Cup Halftime Show’. The song also continues to gain momentum, ranking number four on the ‘Official Trending Chart’ (July 21 edition), which measures the biggest sales increase compared to the previous week.
Furthermore, the track claimed the top spots on both the ‘Official Singles Sales’ and ‘Official Singles Downloads’ charts, earning a double crown. ‘NORMAL’ has now become BTS’ seventh super-hit song to top the ‘Official Singles Sales’ chart.
Another song from their latest album, ‘Come Over,’ also re-entered both charts, landing at No. 65, while BTS’ 2020 hit ‘Dynamite’ reappeared at No. 33.
The renewed success of these tracks on the global charts is being attributed to the impact of BTS’ performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Halftime Show, which not only boosted ‘NORMAL’ to a record 30 million Spotify streams but also increased the group’s Google Trends search volume by more than four times its usual level.
Meanwhile, the streaming numbers for ‘Dynamite’ have notably surged by 105% compared to before the performance.
Other tracks of the BTS’ latest album, ‘ARIRANG,’ have also continued to maintain strong positions across various charts, demonstrating the album’s lasting popularity even 18 weeks after its release. This sustained success can be attributed to the group’s ongoing world tour, along with their consistent promotional activities, including television appearances, music video releases, and various fan-focused events and content.
With this comeback, BTS have once again proven their enduring global influence, reaffirming their status as one of the world’s biggest music acts.
