BTS is expanding its influence beyond music with a landmark collaboration with the British Museum!
BTS has officially teamed up with the British Museum for a unique cultural initiative that blends Korean history with contemporary music. As part of the ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG-LONDON’ project, the ‘Korea Gallery Trail’ exhibition invites visitors to explore artefacts that reflect the themes of the group’s latest album ‘ARIRANG’, including hope, resilience and belonging.

The exhibition features historic pieces including a traditional ‘sarangbang’ (scholars’ quarters), a Joseon Dynasty moon jar, and Silla Dynasty gold earrings and ‘sumaksae’ (decorative roof tiles that showcase historical craftsmanship). The Silla artefacts were selected in connection with the sound of the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok, which sampled in ‘No. 29’, the album’s sixth track.
Visitors can explore the exhibition through digital interactive QR codes for guidance and join a social media campaign by answering the prompt, ‘What is Your ARIRANG?’. The participatory museum experience encourages the guests to reflect on personal experience while exploring Korea’s cultural heritage.
The special exhibition ‘Korea Gallery Trail’ will run through July 23 at the British Museum.
