The Plot
Seong Hui-ju (IU) is the CEO of Castle Beauty and the daughter of the Castle Group founder. She has managed her company without a single failed venture, proving her business genius time and again. In an effort to secure an advantageous marriage, she sets her sights on Grand Prince I-an (Byeon Woo-seok) after encountering him at a royal banquet. Grand Prince I-an is the younger brother of the late King I-hwan and regent for his eight-year-old nephew, I-yun. Once a competitive young man, his public persona became more reserved after his father, King Hui-jong, frequently altered his royal titles to limit his political influence.
Following his brother’s death, I-an’s rise to power led to public comparisons with the historical Grand Prince Suyang—a notorious figure who seized the throne. His monotonous, duty-bound life is disrupted by his unexpected encounter with Hui-ju.
