BTS released a brand-new, energetic music video!
On April 2 at midnight KST, BTS dropped the music video for ‘2.0,’ a B-side from their latest album ‘ARIRANG.’ The video is inspired by the 2003 film ‘Oldboy,’ which was directed by Park Chan-wook. It features a dramatic transformation and a powerful entrance reminiscent of the movie’s famous hallway fight scene
The track ‘2.0,’ written by RM, j-hope, V, Jung kook, and SUGA, is described by BIGHIT MUSIC as a song that reflects BTS in their new era, embracing a new stage shaped by their past experiences and growth
In the music video, BTS present a more mature version of themselves through strong visuals and a concept that highlights their growth. Using a continuous-shot technique, the members are introduced as part of a gang, making the scene more intense and giving it a cinematic feel. The choreography also includes references to their hit song ‘Dope,’ making the performance feel fresh and nostalgic at the same time.
‘ARIRANG’ continues to dominate major music charts, including the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., Billboard 200 and the Billboard Hot 100.
