WAKEONE Entertainment announces SEO YOUNGEUN’s departure from Kep1er.
On March 6, WAKEONE Entertainment and KLAP Entertainment released a joint statement through Kep1er’s official social media accounts announcing the departure of member SEO YOUNGEUN from the group. The decision is said to have been made after careful consideration of YOUNGEUN’s future endeavours.
The agencies expressed their gratitude to SEO YOUNGEUN for her sincerity and passion as a member of Kep1er, while promising their continued support for her future endeavors.
The agency’s statement read:

Going forward, the group is said to continue as a six-member group, including members YUJIN, XIAOTING, CHAEHYUN, DAYEON, HIKARU, and HUENING BAHIYYIH.
The statement comes as no shock to fans, especially after YOUNGEUN’s extended hiatus since July 2025, her absence from group activities, and the group’s latest release, their 7th mini album ‘BUBBLE GUM,’ amid persisting health issues. Following the announcement, YOUNGEUN took to her personal Instagram, sharing her love and gratitude toward Kep1er members and fans for their continued support, while also expressing her resolve to “write a new chapter” moving forward.
