On October 9, TVING released brand-new character stills from its much-anticipated thriller drama ‘Dear X’.
The newly revealed images spotlight Kim You Jung as Baek Ah Jin, Kim Young Dae as Yoon Joon Seo, and Kim Do Hoon as Kim Jae Oh, portraying a range of emotions across both their present-day lives and their past as high school students.

Based on the widely acclaimed webtoon of the same name, ‘Dear X’ narrates the story of Baek Ah Jin, (Kim You Jung) a celebrated actress who hides her painful childhood behind her glamorous persona. Having endured domestic violence as a child, she learns to mask her emotions, manipulate those around her, and rise from rock bottom to stardom. However, her success comes at a heavy cost, leading to a gripping story of ambition, downfall, and forbidden romance.
The star-studded cast also includes Lee Yul Eum, Kim Ji Hoon, and Kim Yi Kyeong. The series is co-directed by Lee Eung Bok and Park So Hyun, celebrated for their work on ‘Goblin’ and ‘Mr. Sunshine’. The screenplay is penned by Choi Ja Won in collaboration with Ban Ji Woon, the original webtoon’s creator.
‘Dear X’ is set to premiere exclusively on TVING on November 6.
