OCN‘s new weekend drama ‘Kill It‘ has released some thrilling character posters for Jang Ki Yong and Nana.
‘Kill it ‘ which will air on cable channel OCN, is a ‘signature killer action’ drama directed by Nam Sung Woo, and written by Son Hyun Soo and Choi Myung Jin, tells the story of a veterinarian who hides his past of being a killer and a detective who chases after serial killers. It is scheduled to air in March.
Firstly, the character poster for ‘killer’ Jang Ki Yong were released. He will play the character of Kim Soo Hyun, an elite assassin who kills his targets and disappears. He lost his memories as child and was raised by a killer called Pavel. His identity like name, age, etc. is unknown to others.
Jang Ki Yong, in his character posters gives off the perfect killer vibe with his deadly and cold stare. In one of the posters, he’s seen standing under the red light with a gun in his hand, and is staring at something or someone. Even though the look is cold, there is a hint of loneliness on his face, which is evident even under the red light. In the other poster, his sharp jaw line and strong stare can give you chills. The killer’s force is so powerful that it seems the target can be removed just by looking into his eyes. The tagline on his posters read, “What raised him to become who he is, is yesterday”
The production staff stated that the actor continues to become one with the character, and will not only bring a lot of action but also lay out a compelling story.
‘Detective’ Nana‘s posters were the second ones to release. She will play the character of Do Hyun Jin, a detective who graduated at the top of her class from the police university. She was adopted into a well-off family and has always done what her adoptive parents wanted her to do. For the first time, she goes against their wishes and becomes a detective.
Nana, in her posters is also holding a gun and aiming it towards something or someone. The charisma of the detective is intense, with her hair neatly tied in a ponytail and wearing a black shirt. Her tagline reads, “What raised her to be who she is, is today“, which is the opposite of Jang Ki Yong‘s tagline. Nana, will showcase a total different image in this drama as compared to her old works.
The production staff stated that while shooting for the character posters, Nana‘s gaze was fierce and that she had the perfect posture while holding the gun. Her character has a dark past as well, but she lives an independent life and is an intelligent detective, who is respected by her peers.
The drama has also dropped three trailers so far so make sure to check them out below –
