SHINee’s TAEMIN drops the official music video for his latest release, ‘Veil.’
On September 20 at midnight KST, TAEMIN released the official music video for his latest single ‘Veil.’ The striking MV amplifies the energy of his recently released special digital single, capturing both his artistry and captivating stage presence.
The MV moves between underwater scenes that reflect sorrow and fear, fiery backdrops that channel rage and desire, and serene white spaces that offer moments of introspection. With futuristic looks, smooth choreography, and a dreamlike storyline, ‘Veil’ explores the push and pull between desire and fear, creating a striking visual that adds depth to the song’s mood.
Earlier on September 13, TAEMIN made his long-awaited comeback with the special digital single marking his first release in over a year since the mini-album ‘ETERNAL.’ The single features three tracks: the title track ‘Veil,’ the emotional ballad ‘FINALE,’ and the Japanese version ‘Veil (JPN Ver.).’
The title track ‘Veil’ blends sharp beats with heavy textures, lyrically delving into confessions caught between desire and fear. The newly released music video visually brings this duality to life, with TAEMIN showcasing his signature mix of bold choreography, cinematic visuals, and artistic experimentation.
Meanwhile, TAEMIN is also embarking on his 2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR ‘Veil’ in Japan. The tour opened at Kanagawa PIA ARENA MM (September 13–15) and continues to cities including Saga (September 20–21), Shizuoka (October 4–5), Chiba (November 29–30), and Hyogo (December 24–25).
