Rising alternative and indie-pop artist RYLAI is back with a new single!
On August 15, indie-pop artist RYLAI released his latest track, ‘Fall For You,’ a project two years in the making and his second release since his debut in June. The self-produced rock track sees RYLAI not only directing the entire production but also laying down many of its core elements himself. Joining him were four musicians from three different continents: RYLAI and Liner from Korea, Dylan from America, and Faekt from Hungary.

The song brims with layered guitars; Dylan added acoustic textures and atmospheric effects, Faekt delivered overdrive guitar with a bold double-octave technique, and Liner completed much of the remaining parts, contributing melodies for sections such as the intro, outro, and Verse 3. RYLAI rounded out the track with additional guitar layers while also managing comping, timing, and final production.
Beyond guitars, ‘Fall For You’ incorporates two bass lines performed by Faekt and Dylan, Moog-driven synths, re-recorded drums, and massive vocal stacks that expanded to 92 tracks. Faekt directed standout moments like the crowd vocals and harmonies, RYLAI handled ad-libs, background arrangements, and vocal production, while Colby fine-tuned the crowd vocals and doublings.
The result is a track that feels organic, textured, and deeply collaborative. Without the backing of a major label, ‘Fall For You’ instead stands as proof of what can be created when passionate artists across the world unite purely out of love for music. As RYLAI puts it: “Four guys, three continents, two years, and one song we poured everything into. Will the world feel what we felt making it? I guess we’re about to find out.”
About RYLAI

RYLAI is a rising singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. His passion for music began in the quiet aftermath of a pivotal moment at the end of sixth grade, when he started exploring melodies on an old digital piano that had sat untouched for years. Though he had taken piano lessons as a child, it wasn’t until then that he truly connected with music — creating original ideas that gradually turned into songs.
Influenced by a wide range of artists, RYLAI draws vocal inspiration from Naul of Brown Eyed Soul, whose emotional head voice and rich chord progressions left a lasting impression. He also cites Ado for her unparalleled vocal intensity and expressiveness, and Seo Tai Ji, a Korean pop-rock icon known for his genre-bending approach to music. Kendrick Lamar remains one of RYLAI’s biggest influences — both for his lyrical depth and for the way each of his albums tells a cohesive, meaningful story. Inspired by that model, RYLAI’s own music follows an overarching narrative, with each release revealing a new chapter.
