MONSTA X has officially unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming mini album!
On August 8, MONSTA X revealed the tracklist for their 10th-anniversary special mini album ‘THE X’. The album consists of six songs, including the pre-release track ‘DO WHAT I WANT’, the title track ‘N THE FRONT’, and the B-sides ‘SAVIOR’, ‘TUSCAN LEATHER’, ‘CATCH ME NOW’, and ‘FIRE & ICE’.

Notably, Joohoney, I.M, and Hyungwon have actively participated in the creation of the album. Joohoney and I.M contributed to the lyrics of ‘DO WHAT I WANT’, ‘SAVIOR’, ‘TUSCAN LEATHER’, and ‘CATCH ME NOW’. Joohoney also composed ‘DO WHAT I WANT’ and ‘TUSCAN LEATHER’, while I.M composed ‘SAVIOR’. Additionally, Hyungwon took part in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of ‘FIRE & ICE’, which was recently performed during the group’s ‘2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X’ concert.
Ahead of their comeback, MONSTA X will release various concept photos and teasers for both the pre-release track and the title track.
A few days ago, MONSTA X dropped an album teaser for their upcoming release, featuring the members styled in outfits inspired by traditional Korean fashion and conveying a heartfelt message in celebration of their 10th debut anniversary. The video ends with I.M’s strong statement, “Ten years is not the end—it’s the beginning of something entirely new,” leaving fans emotional. With the tracklist for their self-produced album now revealed, fans are eager to hear the new songs from the mini album.
MONSTA X is a six-member boy group under STARSHIP Entertainment, consisting of Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. They debuted with their first EP ‘Trespass’ on May 14, 2015.
‘THE X’ marks MONSTA X’s first full-group comeback since all members completed their military service earlier this year. The album encapsulates the group’s journey over the past 10 years, since their debut in 2015 with ‘Trespass’, and is expected to reaffirm their unique and distinct identity in the K-pop scene.
The pre-release single ‘DO WHAT I WANT’ will drop on August 18, while ‘THE X’ will be released on September 1 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
