Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin are all set to star in Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy.
On July 29, Netflix Korea confirmed that actors Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin will be leading its upcoming rom-com drama ‘Take Charge of My Heart’.

Based on the web novel ‘Charge Me Up’ by Haebeon, ‘Take Charge of My Heart’ tells the story of a man with an electric heart that’s running out of battery, and a woman who can recharge him.
Kim Young Kwang will portray Baek Ho Rang, a third-generation chaebol who runs a resort owned by his family’s conglomerate. Skilled in strategy and execution, he’s a capable businessman with the potential to take over the group. However, he hides a secret weakness: an artificial heart. Caught in a power struggle at work, he crosses paths with Na Bo Bae, a woman who can recharge him, and unexpectedly offers her a contract she can’t refuse.
Chae Soo Bin takes on the role of Na Bo Bae, a screenwriter with electric powers. Struck by lightning as a child, Bo Bae now has electrical currents flowing through her body, making physical contact with others impossible. When she meets Ho Rang and discovers that her powers don’t affect him, she sees a chance to revive her love life.
The drama will be directed by Park Su Won, best known for his witty storytelling in shows like ‘Work Later, Drink Now 2’ and ‘Birthcare Center’, while rookie writer Song Yu Chae will pen the script.
With Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin returning to the rom-com genre, fans can expect an electrifying performance in ‘Take Charge of My Heart’.
