BoA is making a highly anticipated comeback!
On July 17 at midnight KST, BoA announced her 11th album, ‘Crazier’, along with an intro video. The video opens with BoA in an office, waiting for the workday to end. Just as it’s time to wrap up, a person—presumably a colleague—walks in, sparking a disagreement over the work she’s doing. The tension causes BoA to lose her temper at the workplace. Suddenly, the office transforms into a beachside-like setting as BoA sets up beach chairs, parasols, and pool floats in the middle of the room.
‘Crazier’ marks BoA’s first full-length Korean album in nearly five years, following the release of ‘BETTER’ in December 2020. The new album features 11 tracks spanning various genres, from ballads to dance, and includes songs written and composed by BoA herself.
This release holds special significance as it coincides with BoA’s 25th debut anniversary, making ‘Crazier’ an anniversary album. According to SM Entertainment, “The new album will be a special gift to fans who have supported BoA through the long years.”
BoA made her debut on August 25, 2000, with her first album, ‘ID;Peace B’. Since then, she has delivered countless hits such as ‘Atlantis Princess’, ‘Eat You Up’, ‘Hurricane Venus’, ‘Only One’, and more.
The album release was initially set to be followed by two concerts in Seoul on August 30 and 31. However, both shows have been canceled due to BoA being diagnosed with acute osteonecrosis, which requires surgical treatment.
‘Crazier’ is set to drop on August 4 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
