K-pop sensation BLACKPINK is back with a powerful digital single!
On July 11, BLACKPINK dropped the song and MV for their digital single ‘JUMP,’ marking their first comeback in nearly three years. The electrifying track was first performed live last weekend during the group’s kickoff concert of their world tour, ‘DEADLINE,’ in South Korea.
‘JUMP’ is a high-energy track that blends hip-hop and EDM, featuring an addictive chorus that channels the vibe of a Western film and captivates listeners instantly. Electric guitar and roaring drums come together to create a groovy, harmonious masterpiece.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Dave Meyers, the music video opens with vibrant graffiti murals of the artists and includes numerous eye-catching sequences that create an energetic, urban backdrop for the group’s dynamic choreography. The synergy among the four members, paired with the MV’s powerful visuals and frenzied energy, amplifies the impact of the song, making ‘JUMP’ a bold and unforgettable comeback. The video also showcases the members flying through the air like superheroes and features a comic book-style cover art that adds to its striking visuals.
Meanwhile, the group is currently on their BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘DEADLINE,’ having performed in Goyang, Seoul, on July 5 and 6. They will next head to 15 more cities around the world, including Bangkok, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Singapore, and more.
