NOWZ, formerly known as NOWADAYS, is officially set to make their long-awaited return!
On June 7 KST, NOWZ officially unveiled their comeback with the group’s first mini-album, ‘IGNITION’. Alongside the announcement, they unveiled the promotional schedule for a pre-release digital single, marking their first release since rebranding and returning from a seven-month hiatus.

The comeback rollout kicks off with a story film releasing on June 8, followed by a steady stream of promotional content. This includes a special project titled ‘NOWZ with ?’ on June 9, concept photos on June 10 and 11, concept films on June 12 and 13, and a music video teaser on June 16.
The promotional schedule also featured a series of striking teaser images, such as a sunlit glass of water, a white cabinet, a guitar in a music room, an empty rooftop, and headphones resting on a grassy field. These visuals suggest a youthful and introspective theme for the upcoming release, sparking anticipation and curiosity about the direction of NOWZ’s new era.
According to CUBE Entertainment, NOWZ aims to express a more defined identity and musical style with this release, building on the growth they’ve achieved since their debut. This release follows their digital single ‘Let’s get it’ in November 2024 and signals a fresh chapter for the group.
‘IGNITION’ is set to reflect the group’s refreshed sound and direction, making this comeback especially meaningful for both members and fans.
The pre-release digital single is set to drop on June 17 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
