This album is the fifth in the #TWICE series and marks their Japanese comeback after approximately three years and two months since ‘#TWICE4’ in March 2022. Meanwhile, the Japanese version of ‘Talk that Talk’, which serves as the album’s title track, was pre-released on April 14.
Since their official Japanese debut in 2017, TWICE has solidified their top-tier status with over 20 million cumulative album sales across Korea and Japan. In July 2024, they became the first overseas female artist to perform at Japan’s largest stadium, Nissan Stadium, as part of their fifth world tour, which drew over 1.5 million attendees.
Most recently, the group made headlines for their performances as the opening act for Coldplay during the band’s tour in Korea.
Additionally, the group is set to headline Lollapalooza Chicago at Grant Park on August 2, further proving their status as global superstars.
