Global K-pop sensation BTS’ Jimin has etched his name into the history books once again.
According to the latest update from Spotify Korea on May 13 (KST), the BTS member has achieved a record-breaking 600th No. 1 on the Spotify Korea Daily Top Songs chart, becoming the first and only artist to reach this extraordinary milestone.
Jimin’s title track ‘Who’ from his second solo album ‘MUSE’ debuted at No. 1 upon its release and has continued to dominate the charts for 296 consecutive days. This success follows the massive impact of his debut solo album ‘FACE’, which featured the iconic hit ‘Like Crazy’. That track alone held the top position for an unprecedented 268 days, setting a benchmark in Korean music streaming history.
Jimin’s chart-topping streak includes a total of five No. 1 singles on the Spotify Korea Daily Top Songs chart: ‘Like Crazy’, ‘Like Crazy (English Version)’, ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, ‘Angel Pt.1’, and ‘Who’. The 600 No. 1 entries reflect not just a streak of hits but the sustained popularity and global resonance of Jimin’s artistry.
Adding to his list of accolades, the ‘Serendipity’ singer also claimed the top spot on the Spotify Korea Daily Top Artists chart on May 11, marking his 650th No. 1 as an artist on the platform. This achievement reinforces his position as a leading figure in both the Korean and international music scenes.
As Jimin continues to break records and captivate listeners around the world, fans eagerly anticipate what’s next in his already stellar solo journey.
