Korean hip-hop artist Bryan Chase has joined forces with Korean American hip-hop artist pH-1 to release a heartfelt new track, ‘Show Must Go On’, marking Bryan Chase’s long-awaited return to the scene—and the first official release under his new label, Universal Music Korea.
Produced by THE BLACKLABEL’s acclaimed producer KUSH, ‘Show Must Go On’ is a vulnerable yet powerful hip-hop track that explores life’s emotional rollercoasters—resilience through adversity, and the determination to move forward. It’s a message the two artists express clearly through both their lyrics and personal ethos.
The single arrives nearly two years after Bryan Chase’s last release and signals the start of a bold new chapter. His recent signing with Universal Music Korea has raised anticipation for what lies ahead, and ‘Show Must Go On’ feels like the perfect reintroduction—raw, reflective, and mature.
Bryan Chase, known for his unique tone, smooth rap style, and crossover into R&B, has long been a standout figure in Korea’s underground hip-hop scene. Since debuting in 2015 with the EP ‘[Lost in the City Part.1]’ and rising to prominence as part of the legendary Cohort crew, Bryan has consistently pushed the boundaries of genre and sound. Tracks like ‘Let Us Prey,’ ‘Walkin (Remix),’ and ‘Underwater Bank’—released via 88rising—have racked up millions of views and earned global attention.
Described by Hypebeast as “a staple of the underground rap scene of Seoul,” Bryan has built an impressive resume of collaborations and label affiliations, including with THEBLACKLABEL, Interscope, and 88rising. He’s previously teamed up with global artists like Taeyang on ‘Nightfall’ and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on ‘2U.’
Joining UMG is an incredible honor. We’ve built this from the ground up with love and belief in the music. Now with this partnership, we’re ready to share our sound with the world. This is a new beginning and we’re expecting great things ahead.
