K-pop girl group aespa is gearing up to take the stage at the Mawazine Festival 2025.
On April 19, the Mawazine Festival announced that the four-member girl group aespa is set to perform on this year’s Mawazine stage in Rabat. The group will perform on the festival’s main stage, OLM Souissi, on June 24.

This performance marks a historic milestone, as aespa will be the first female K-pop act to perform at Mawazine and only the second K-pop act in the festival’s history, following ATEEZ, who headlined the event last year.
Mawazine is an annual Moroccan festival that began in 2001 and ranks among the world’s largest, attracting over 2.5 million attendees annually. Held in Rabat, the 2025 edition marks the festival’s 20th anniversary.
aespa, known for their cutting-edge sound, powerful performances, and innovative AI concept, is expected to draw a massive crowd and deliver an unforgettable show. Their addition to the Mawazine lineup not only underscores the festival’s commitment to diverse international acts but also cements aespa’s position as a rising force in the global music scene.
Mawazine Festival 2025 is set to take place from June 20 to 28, with a star-studded lineup that includes global artists like Wizkid, Will Smith, Afrojack, and more.
