NCT’s Mark has given fans a heartfelt preview of his upcoming solo track ‘Raincouver’ with a newly released live performance video titled ‘2011, Vancouver’.
Released on March 30, via NCT’s official YouTube channel, the video captures Mark’s soothing vocals paired with soft dreamy visuals.
‘Raincouver’ is a captivating pop track, featuring the soothing sounds of chirping birds and gentle piano melodies. It evokes a sense of nostalgia, longing for the innocence of the past, younger self while reminiscing about warm memories of Vancouver, watching raindrops fall from the sky.
The track is featured on ‘The Firstfruit’, Mark’s debut solo album comprising 13 songs, including the title track ‘1999’. The album draws inspiration from four meaningful cities in Mark’s life: Toronto (his birthplace), New York (his first move abroad), Vancouver (his childhood home), and Seoul (where he achieved his dream of becoming an artist).
‘The Firstfruit’ is set to release on April 7 at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 p.m. IST) across all major streaming platforms, with physical albums also launching on the same day.
Through this album, Mark opens the door to his most personal stories yet, setting the tone for a deeply emotional and introspective solo debut.
