On March 15, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST, released a second official statement in response to a March 14 report by the YouTube channel HOVERLAB (Garoseyo Research Institute). The statement addresses claims regarding the actor’s alleged past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron and responds to remarks made by Kim Sae Ron’s mother following the agency’s initial statement.
In their latest statement, GOLDMEDALIST strongly criticized the release of private photos, clarifying that the images shared by HOVERLAB were taken on December 14, 2019. The agency called for an end to the spread of personal information, stating, “There is no reason for the private photos of Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron to be indiscriminately published. We ask that you cease the dissemination of personal privacy.”
Additionally, they acknowledged Kim Sae Ron’s mother’s grief, saying, “After the loss of Kim Sae Ron, her mother is experiencing indescribable pain, and no words can truly console her.” The agency also expressed sorrow for Kim Sae Ron’s struggles, adding, “We deeply feel sorrow for the pain that the late Kim Sae Ron had to endure.”
While recognizing the mother’s concerns, GOLDMEDALIST pointed out differences in perspective regarding certain claims. They suggested that she might not be aware of all the facts and added, “We believe that publicly debating these matters would not be appropriate for either the late Kim Sae Ron or her mother, who have been trying to restore her reputation.”
The agency also extended an invitation for a private discussion, stating, “Our management team is willing to meet with Kim Sae Ron’s mother and provide sufficient explanations. We would appreciate it if she could contact the GOLDMEDALIST office at any time.”

The photos released by HOVERLAB were taken on December 14, 2019. There is no reason for the private photos of Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron to be indiscriminately published. We ask that you cease the dissemination of personal privacy.
