‘Heo’s Diner’ starring EXO’s Xiumin and WJSN’s Exy has confirmed its premiere date!
On February 18, the production team behind the upcoming drama ‘Heo’s Diner’ announced that the series will premiere next month. Starring EXO’s Xiumin and WJSN’s Exy in the lead roles, ‘Heo’s Diner’ is a fantasy romance adapted from a web novel of the same name. The drama tells the story of a man from the Joseon era who time-travels 400 years into the present and starts a restaurant in modern-day Korea.
Xiumin plays the role of Heo Gyun, Joseon’s first food critic and a self-proclaimed genius. When he learns that his friends have been accused of treason, he tries to escape exile but unexpectedly time-travels to the present, where he meets Bong Eun Sil (Exy).
Exy plays Bong Eun Sil, the outspoken daughter of a restaurant owner who refuses to tolerate injustice.
The drama also stars Lee Sae On in the dual roles of Lee Yi Cheom and Lee Hyuk. The former is a determined strategist from the Joseon era, while the latter is the youngest Korean Master Chef.
Lee Soo Min will also take on a double role, portraying Mae Chang, an entertainer from the Joseon era, and Jung Mi Sol, a former child star turned advertisement model.
‘Heo’s Diner’ promises a unique blend of humor, romance, and time-traveling twists. It is set to premiere on March 24, 2025, at 5 PM KST (1:30 PM IST) on Netflix, with a later release on Wavve.
