K-pop group LUMINOUS has officially announced their disbandment after three years of activities.
On February 9, Barunson WIP (SE Group Entertainment) released an official statement on social media announcing the disbandment of the group LUMINOUS. In the statement, they shared, “After much discussion and careful consideration, our company and the members of LUMINOUS have decided to conclude the contract and activities of LUMINOUS.” Along with the announcement, the members also shared handwritten letters expressing their gratitude to their fans, LUMINI, for their continuous love and support throughout their journey.

LUMINOUS, a 4th-generation boy group under Barunson WIP (SE Group Entertainment), debuted on September 9, 2021. The group consisted of Youngbin, Suil, Steven, and Woobin, and was known for its unique musical style and heartfelt performances.
Over the years, LUMINOUS released several albums, including ‘YOUTH’ (2021), ‘Between Light and Darkness (Self n Ego)’ (2022), and ‘LUMINOUS in WONDERLAND’ (2022).
