(G)I-DLE’s MINNIE is all about ‘HER‘!
On January 21 KST, MINNIE made her long-awaited solo debut with the album ‘HER’. Describing it as a reflection of herself, she explained, “I am my own muse“. The album showcases a side of her distinct from her role in (G)I-DLE, with lyrics that draw from her personal experiences and themes she is eager to share.

‘HER’ consists of seven tracks in total, with the eponymous title track expressing MINNIE’s honest inner self through various images of her as an artist, as perceived by the public. The song features an addictive hook and mesmerizing vocals. The music video further emphasizes this, showcasing different looks and striking visuals that highlight her many sides.
The album also features the pre-released single ‘Blind Eyes Red‘ and tracks like ‘Drive U Crazy‘ featuring (G)I-DLE member YUQI, ‘Cherry Sky‘, ‘Valentine’s Dream‘, ‘It’s Okay‘ and ‘Obsession‘ featuring WayV’s TEN. The tracks explore diverse genres such as funk, ballad, and R&B, making it an experience worth listening to.
MINNIE played a significant role in the creation of the album by contributing to the writing of all the tracks and composing several, making the album much more meaningful and personal.
