SEVENTEEN’s Jun is set to star alongside Jackie Chan and Tony Leung Ka-fai in the Chinese film ‘The Shadow’s Edge’.
On January 19, PLEDIS Entertainment announced that Jun has been cast in the upcoming Chinese movie ‘The Shadow’s Edge’. He will essay the role of Hu Feng, an integral member of the villainous group, Yangdan.

‘The Shadow’s Edge’ is a police thriller that depicts the intense rivalry between a criminal organization and a cop who is hot on their heels. Tony Leung Ka-fai will play the main antagonist of the movie, while Jun’s Hu Feng will be his adoptive son. Jackie Chan will undertake the role of a veteran detective who is determined to bring down the crime syndicate.
Directed by Larry Yang, known for his critically acclaimed film ‘Mountain Cry,’ ‘The Shadow’s Edge’ promises to deliver high-octane action sequences. PLEDIS Entertainment further shared, “Jun will play a villain and showcase stunning action scenes in the film. Having trained in martial arts during his childhood, fans are eagerly anticipating the action he will deliver on screen.”
Jun made his film debut as a child actor in the 2007 film ‘The Pye-Dog’, earning him several prestigious awards, including the Best New Actor Award from the Hong Kong Directors’ Guild. He was also seen in the 2023 romantic Chinese drama ‘Exclusive Fairy Tale’.
