SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI, NCT’s Doyoung, and Kang Daniel are set to enlist in the military this year.
In the new year, fans are already bracing for heartfelt goodbyes as 1996-born K-Pop idols SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI, NCT’s Doyoung, and Kang Daniel prepare for their military enlistments. The three popular, celebrated idols have been a source of joy and inspiration for fans, making their temporary departures all the more poignant.
HOSHI, SEVENTEEN’s charismatic performance team leader, is known for his electrifying choreography and stage presence. He is currently participating in the group’s SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR, which is set to conclude in February 2025. HOSHI is also making a comeback as a part of BSS with their second single album ‘TELEPARTY’ in January. According to reports, he will also form a sub-unit with fellow group member WOOZI this year, ahead of SEVENTEEN’s 10th debut anniversary.
Doyoung, the main vocalist of NCT 127, and one part of the trio NCT DoJaeJung, is known for his versatility and warm personality. He made his solo debut in April 2024 with the studio album ‘YOUTH,’ followed by a solo concert tour.
Kang Daniel rose to popularity through ‘Produce 101’ and eventually the K-Pop group WANNA ONE. A soloist, MC, and actor, Kang Daniel has shown his fans various sides throughout his career. He made a comeback in September 2024 with his 5th EP, ‘ACT’, and is set to embark on a second tour in January 2025, visiting seven cities across Asia and Australia.
All of them are preparing for their final activities ahead of their enlistment in the military, and are making efforts to leave special memories for their fans.
