BLACKPINK’s Jennie Reveals Plans To Release New Solo Album In 2025

BLACKPINK’s Jennie is coming out with her solo album soon!

In a Christmas Day video released by Jennie, the BLACKPINK member revealed her plans to release her solo album in 2025. The video, titled ‘Happy Holidays,’ was released on her official website as a gift for her fans. Set up as a theatre, the video starts with a flashback of all the important moments from Jennie’s life and career in 2024. In the video, she talks about her recent comeback ‘Mantra’ and her plans for her upcoming album.

Speaking of her debut album, Jennie said, “It took me about 11 months to get to a point where I was like ‘we are ready.’” She further built anticipation for the album by hinting that she has worked with some artists she has dreamt of collaborating with. She added, “My album is going to sound very different. I feel like every little step is going to be different.” She also confirmed that her fans will see rapper Jennie in action in the album.

Jennie shared what she wishes the fans would take away from the album and said,  “Hopefully, everyone feels a little closer to me, but my hope with the album is that the world gets to see Jennie and her music as they are. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. It’s like a buffet for you guys.”

Jennie began her career with BLACKPINK in 2016. She made her solo debut in 2018 with the single ‘Solo’. In 2024, Jennie established her label, Odd Atelier, signed with Columbia Records, and went on to release the single, ‘Mantra’ under them.
