MBC announces Broadcast plans for upcoming drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin’ and confirms Jung Kyung Ho in lead role.
MBC has confirmed that Jung Kyung Ho, popularly known for his works ‘Hospital Playlist’, ‘Crash Course in Romance’ and ‘Prison Playbook’, will be starring in their upcoming drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin’ (literal translation).
Directed by Yim Soon Rye and penned by Kim Bo Tong, the upcoming drama is a fantasy-comic story of a labor attorney who has the ability to see ghosts. The series will take the audience through his challenges of solving labor issues. Jung Kyung Ho will be playing the role of the practical and determined labor attorney. He encounters a near-death situation when he collaborates with a YouTuber to expose corruption in the labor sector. This incident transforms him and he begins solving labor issues with supernatural guidance.
Furthermore, Seol In Ah known for her performances in ‘Twinkling Watermelon’ and ‘Business Proposal,’ and Cha Hak Yeon, a member of the K-Pop group VIXX who has acted in series like ‘Castaway Diva’ and ‘Joseon Attorney,’ are expected to join the cast, adding to the excitement surrounding the drama.
Sharing the details of the series, a representative of MBC highlighted the series’ attempt to cover serious labour issues with a touch of refreshing sensibilities. The representative expressed the team’s expectations to deliver an engaging drama to the audience which they can resonate with. The show further explores conflictual relationships emerging at varied work sites.
The production is set to begin soon, with the drama scheduled to air as a Friday-Saturday series in 2025.
