HYBE’s New Survival Show ‘R U Next?’ Release Teasers Introducing All Contestants

Want to be familiar with the contestants of the upcoming audition survival program ‘R U Next?’

Hybe Labels released profile films and images of their 22 contestants participating in the upcoming survival show ‘R U Next? The project under Hybe and BeLift Lab is going to premiere on the JTBC network on June 30, at 8:50 PM KST.

Earlier JTBC announced that the contestants will compete through seven mission rounds to be in the final lineup. All the finalists will receive training before turning into a next-generation global girl group.

The profile film shows the excitement of the contestants while the profile picture contains information related to their age, blood group and goals. The profile shows that the group not only has Koreans but also Thai and Japanese participants as well.

The oldest contestant is 22 years old while the youngest contestant is 12 years old. In recent times, a few other companies have also introduced idols aged around 13/14 years (Baby Monster & New Jeans) raising concern among the fans, over the debut age.

‘R U Next?’ is set to premiere on June 30 at 8:50 p.m. KST, on JTBC. Girls Generation’s Sooyoung will be hosting the show while Suzy sings the theme song.
