On June 15, Jay surprised his fans by releasing the schedule poster for his upcoming solo debut album ‘PARADISE‘ under 143 Entertainment. The album is divided into two parts – pt.1 ‘PARADISE‘ and pt.2 ‘BLUE MOON.’ The teaser for ‘Paradise‘ will be released with a concept photo, followed by a live clip teaser and a performance teaser.
The teasers for ‘PARADISE’ will begin their release on June 16. The first part of the album ‘pt.1 [PARADISE]‘ is set to drop on June 21 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), whereas ‘pt.2 [BLUE MOON]‘ will be released on July 12 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
Jay is a member of the boy group iKON, who made their debut with a mini-album ‘Welcome Back‘ in 2015 under YG Entertainment. Following the expiration of their contracts with YG Entertainment in December 2022, the group signed with 143 Entertainment. The members of the group have expressed their desire to release solo projects in various interviews. Jay has also emphasized his commitment to making good music that meets fans’ expectations and hence this has to build anticipation.
Meanwhile, iKON recently released their third full-length album ‘TAKE OFF‘ on May 4 and are currently on their ‘2023 iKON WORLD TOUR TAKE OFF.
