MONSTA X’s Shownu joins Mnet’s ‘Street Women Fighter 2’ as a dance battle judge.
Shownu, the main dancer and leader of MONSTA X, is known for his detailed dance moves and powerful performances. The artist started his career as a dancer before debuting as an idol in 2015. In 2016, he participated in Mnet’s dance survival program ‘Hit The Stage’ while in 2020, he was a judge in the Mnet teen survival show ‘CAP-TEEN.’ Shownu has always shown great sincerity towards dance and it is hoped that he will show a great performance as a battle judge.
Producer Nam who directed the previous series stated, “We decided to choose artists who would watch the stage and give a review that the public can easily sympathize with.”
‘Street Woman Fighter 2’ is the fourth competition program to come out of the ‘Street Fighter’ series with instalments being ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter,’ ‘Street Man Fighter’ and ‘Street Woman Fighter.’ Judges from the previous season are BoA, NCT’s TAEYONG, SUPER JUNIOR’s EUNHYUK, and 2PM’s WOOYOUNG.
‘Street Woman Fighter 2’ is set to premiere on August 22, 2023.
