BTS’ J-Hope has reportedly been appointed as Assistant Instructor.
On May 31, an army official confirmed the news by stating, “J-Hope will serve as an assistant instructor and will also carry out his teaching assistant duties after passing a period of educational qualification evaluation.”
In response to the report, BIGHIT MUSIC said, “Please understand that it is difficult to confirm.”
On April 18, 2023, J-Hope enlisted in the military as an active soldier. After finishing five weeks of basic training, he recently sent an update from the military with pictures of himself wearing his uniform to ARMY on Weverse.
J-Hope is expected to work as an assistant instructor until his release on October 17, 2024.
In related news, Jin is currently serving as an assistant instructor for the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
