TvN’s new drama Maestra officially announced the casting.
Lee Young Ae, Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Kim Young Jae, and Park Ho San are to be seen in the lead role. Maestra is the tale of a female conductor who discovers the orchestra’s mystery and confronts the truth about herself. The conductor has a secret that she must keep hidden.
Lee Young Ae comes back in the role of the lead. She portrays Cha Se Eum, a renowned classical music prodigy whose outspoken, independent nature enthralls both artists and fans. Lee Moo Saeng plays Yoo Jung Jae, the chairman of UC Financial who is well-known for his lavish acts.
Cha Se Eum’s husband, Kim Pil, is portrayed by Kim Young Jae. He is kind and caring but holds a sense of inferiority towards his wife. Park Ho San plays the role of Han River Philharmonic Orchestra CEO, Jeon Sang Do. Hwang Bo Reum Byeol has been cast in the part of Lee Ru Na, a new member of the orchestra, as a pure, passionate heroine who is not afraid of trying to prove her talent.
It is anticipated that Maestra would depict the process of bringing different individuals together to produce perfect harmony.
